Review Terms below
- Any member of CMA who shall without reasonable cause willfully fail to submit monthly ministerial reports to CMA for six (6) consecutive months shall be temporarily removed from active membership in CMA. The Executive Board may inquire, under appropriate circumstances, whether the temporarily removed member is desirous of continuing membership in CMA.
- Unscriptural conduct, failure to maintain membership requirements, or doctrinal departure from the Tenets of Faith shall be considered sufficient grounds upon which any person may be disqualified as a member. Such discipline will be prayerfully administered according to the Scriptures by the Presiding Bishop (or one appointed by the same), the Standing Committee for Ethical Oversight, and the Executive Board. (Matt. 18:15-17; Rom. 16:17; I Cor. 5:9-13; II Thes. 3:6).
- The Presiding Bishop (or one appointed by the same), along with the Executive Board, shall be empowered to place on the inactive list those who have disqualified themselves as provided for in these Bylaws. The Presiding Bishop (or one appointed by the same), along with the Executive Board, shall have the authority to restore to active membership those who, in the opinion of the Presiding Bishop and the Executive Board, are not at fault. Provisions may be made to reinstate those at fault who have re-qualified themselves through repentance, reconciliation, and restoration.
- The Executive Board shall recognize its duties to interview and encourage a proper attitude towards those placed on the inactive list. It shall proceed carefully to press for a final decision in each case. The decision of the Presiding Bishop t and the Executive Board shall be conclusive.
